Hello! I'm Sarah Jane
I help creative, independent women with full lives envision and maintain an inspiring home yoga practice. A practice that supports their physical, mental, and emotional well-being so that they can show up fully for themselves and others.
I have been an avid yoga student for fifteen years and a teacher for the past ten. Living on a small island, with limited access to group yoga classes, was my initial incentive for diving into a home practice. It was a lot of trial and error at first but once I found my groove the rewards for getting on the mat (even when I didn't feel like it), continued to show up as increased self-confidence, a deeper trust in my intuition and the freedom to be who I am. Some days the resistance was (is) overwhelming but, when I permit myself to adapt my practice based on how I am feeling, the rewards surpass the initial resistance. Knowing there are so many women out there who want to establish a home practice and struggle with how to get started, what to practice and feelings of going it alone, led me to start the Nest online. I am excited that you are here and I look forward to helping you create and maintain a yoga practice that suits your life. |

What benefits can I expect if I commit to a regular Yoga practice with the Nest yoga online?

I’ve never done an online Yoga class, do I need special equipment?
You need a computer, tablet or phone to access the classes and live streams on our distraction-free platform (not you-tube or Facebook). Live stream classes are via Zoom. You will need to download the free Zoom app if you want to join live classes. You will also need a Yoga mat. It is handy to have a block, strap and cushion and you can find things around your house to use instead of buying them. If you want to buy Yoga specific props and want my recommendations, just ask!
Are you available for questions?
Yes! When you join the membership you receive a one time 30 minute private consultation with me to discuss your personal aims and needs. After that, you can email me with questions specific to your practice anytime. The live streamed classes are interactive so there is an opportunity to connect and ask me questions there twice a week.
I don't want to commit for a whole month. How can I do that?
You can purchase a 'day pass' to the online studio to enjoy all of the pre-recorded content for 24hrs after you purchase the pass. Create an account and purchase a day pass here.
The intention of the online membership is to allow you to make a commitment to practice and discover your own rhythm. You can practice along with as many of the videos/audios as you desire. So depending on your schedule and own rhythm of practice you can participate as much or as little as you like. The commitment is month to month so you can cancel anytime.
